Savoy cabbage is the prettiest cabbage of all, with its extraordinary crinkly leaves and its contrasting darkish on light colour palette. only some outer leaves are dark green and pretty so textured, inside it's miles creamy and pale. regardless of its rugged appearance it is genuinely very soft and sweet. nice of all, it chefs speedy and without problems and it would not have the sulfur smell so specific in different cabbage; just don't over cook it. savoy cabbage is named for the savoy place, a medieval duchy on the borderOf italy, france and switzerland. but i assume we have to call it through its cute italian name, cavolo verza. now it is the name of a celebrity!
